I am in search of a plugin that will show all business' reviews from Google places within a Wordpress Widget. I looked at the very view present in the wordpress plugins repository. Tried one that is pay only but the api connection failed and there is little support from the developer. I tried calling Google but their hold time is 95 minutes today.
I checked Google places-reviews support but could not find a widget they they publish.
I find this odd because Yelp and YP have very to easy widgets that work with wordpress without complicated keys etc - 5 min setup and it works. However I am finding it rather difficult to find this same simple solution for Google Places reviews. I am seriously considering going old school copy and paste into a smartblock until a widget is developed by Google or a third party that has a working product. Would be a huge plus if there were a link at the bottom of the widget to "Leave Your Review Here".
Have any of you been down this road before and if so, any recommendations? Again to be specific, I am looking for a widget that will auto display reviews given by G+ users to small businesses listed in Google Places. thanks in advance.
