Hi Folks,

I have a client that wants to use wordpress and create a replica of odesk/elance capabilities for a church group. The want to showcase their folks available for work, and also be able to have members of the community post jobs.

Paid or free plugins or themes hopefully. They have a site using wordpress and I'm hoping to find a plugin or two that will seamlessly do the job.

Also, a star system and testimonials would be wonderful.

I'm just not sure what to search plugin wise, like is it a JOB BOARD? or what.

I need to be able to allow logged in members to post jobs, and see candidates profiles with avatar, resume,

Very much like elance, odesk, etc.

Many thanks!

There's a nice list of plugins and their capabilities over on WPMUdev: [premium.wpmudev.org...]

Only one is free but bare in mind that quite often free equates to loss of time and frustration for those without (and sometimes even those with) really solid understanding of WordPress. Sometimes it's worth dropping the $100 or less for a plugin especially when there's good support.

I would tend to agree with lorax.

One plugin I like (which is free for the base version but has some add on's that are around $20 or $25) is the Advanced Custom field plugin.

I am not saying that this plugin is going to work for your needs, but it MIGHT be one POSSIBLE helpful plugin.

Also, permiumpress has a job board them that MIGHT work. You can take a look at it here:

I haven't use it but it MIGHT fit your needs.

Hope this helps.
