I think I'm getting bots signing people up on our blog.
I would like to put a stop to this by using some sort of verification plug-in on my Word Press site.

Something like Captcha.

Any ideas?

There are challenge/response plugins and email verification plugins out there. Is that what you mean?

I use wanguard, seem to do the job

Use this plugin. It will stop a lot of bots without putting any captcha/question there for a human to get irritated with.
