Looking for a plugin to do a grid style layout

I'm currently searching for a theme or plugin that will display individual posts (an image with a short paragraph of text) in a grid format (like an image gallery or pinterest looking page) based on categories and tags. I'm not looking to use an entire pinterest style theme as we want something different for the main page. Anyone know of anything that could work?

You could use almost any basic theme to do this and then simply style the archive and home pages to display the posts as you wish. It shouldn't be too hard to do.
