Duplicate Meta tags

Hi, I would like to install an seo plugin to generate better title and description for my Wordpress site... BUT... no matter which of the seo plugins I install... each one gets duplicated within the source code...

ie.. I can see the plugin activated twice within the source code... and when I go to Bing Webmaster Tools.. it says "There are Two titles and descriptions etc...)

Can anyone advise how to prevent this duplication?

In fact having searched through the it seems any plugin is repeated twice and style sheet requested twice.. so need to try to find that...

What happens when you disable the plugin? Do you see any META or not?

I have now resolved this.. as the call for the header.php was included TWICE within the code...
