90% drop in traffic May 16, 2012, & have no idea what I'm doing wrong

I desperately need help. On May 16, my Wordpress site lost 90% of daily Google organic traffic, and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I do not and have never participated in buying links, link farms, intentional keyword stuffing, etc. I have always tried to operate according to best practices, and the site is filled with quality content pages (at least 250+). We had been growing consistently and had reached 4 - 5,000 impressions and about 500 visitors a day. Now we dropped to about 500 impressions and less than 50 visitors a day. It happened overnight, and has remained low ever since.

I've already submitted a request for reconsideration, and Google responded that no spam action had been taken against my site.

I am completely at a loss for what the problem could be. Does anyone have any recommendations? We have worked SO HARD on this site, and this is one of my worst fears come true. Please help.

Also, I took a quick look before I removed the URL (we don't allow links to our own sites here) and noted you have lengthy meta descriptions - these could cause you problems. Keep them below 170 characters (not words).
