I am looking to set up my own data center and need to book a block of IP addresses to use - how do I go about this?

More than likely, the net service seller should be able to set you up with that. Just ask where ever you end up setting up your network at.

If you are in the USA the organization who issues blocks of IP addresses would be ARIN [arin.net] - American Registry for Internet Numbers. More than likely the center you will be connecting to will be able to help you.
