accessing http servers requires 32 bit TCP/IP networking?

I am running Windows XP Home and just installed FrontPage 2000 and tried to publish my site.

When I do, a aessage pops up that says
"accessing http servers requires 32 bit TCP/IP networking, which is not installed or may be misconfigured."

Anyone know what this means or how I can solve it? Would upgrading to XP Pro help?

erickr,

Check your networking configuration. It sounds like TCP/IP isn't installed properly. Just uninstall/re-install it from the disk if it's missing or messed up.

I'm not an XP user, but on this WinME machine, the click-path is:
ControlPanel->Network->Add->Protocol->Add->Microsoft->TCP/IP->OK

You should not need XP Pro; XP home has everything you should need to publish w/Frontpage.

If you are using AOL or another ISP that requires you to install their custom internet-access software, you may be experiencing "interference" from it.
