CF Studio 4.5.2

I'm running ColdFusion Studio 4.5.2 on my local machine, which is where I will be doing the development for the pages sitting on our web server which is running apache, cf5 & MSSQL2000.

I have run into problems with the RDS server, and get the message "The Connection to the Server can not be established", when I try to open a database through CF Studio. I have the mappings and ports correct but it still won't work.

I have tried to take off the studio password on the cf administrator, I've un-registered, renamed and reregistered the CFFileProxy.dll, cfssvradmin.dll and CfShellFtpRds.dll library files in Windows/system.

I've looked through the allaire/macromedia help forums and the only other solution metioned has to do with the ide.cfm file found in /cfide/main/ directory. The only problem is I don't have a /main directory in my /cfide directory, nor can it or the file ide.cfm be found anywhere.

The allaire/macromedia forums are down at the moment so if anyone can lend a hand, I'd be greatful.
