SMTP service on IIS 4

Troubles sending e-mails to Exchange with SMTP service

Just started working with CDONTS to make a simple asp-form. Goal: forward the incoming mail to our Exchange server. The form works but everything ends up in the 'badmail' folder on the webserver (NT-server SP 6a). Here's the scheme:
webserver on 10.0.1.10 in DMZ, watchguard Firebox II on 192.168.1.1, Exchange Server 5.5 in NT domain on 192.168.1.42.
Pinging from 10.0.1.10 to 192.168.1.42 works, but no mail gets through. Firewall policies also OK... I guess the problem's got to do with the SMTP service: anyone know how to configure this so it works? Do I need to change other things (like DNS, hosts,...)?

Hey Kubru, you might try posting your question in this very active Exchange and Outlook [winnetmag.com] forum or this IIS and Web Admin [winnetmag.com] forum. I found a few SMTP questions in the Exchange forum and a CDONTS question or two on the Admin side.
