I used to use a 2 Hard drives in caddies and backed up a 3 peer to peer computer network at work and 2 pc network at home. worked fine until 16 month old son played this toy ain't fun no more and chucked it down the stairs.
I now use a cd burner slightly limited on how much you can backup but much safer and easy to store.

Zip disks take forever
I've not found an easy way, though, to back up my (Windows) directory structure, program updates, etc etc etc.
Also, synchronizing larger data directories is often tricky. What I usually do is to rename my backed up directory on the second hard drive, make a new backup, and then delete the old backup. Is there an easier way?
You choose which directories you want backed up, and it saves information incrementally, backing up only the part of a file that has changed since the previous backup. It backs up once a day at a random time in the background.
This is a dream!
