Member/password script

Looking for member/password script suggestions

I am looking for a member manager script that has all the bells and whistles:

auto expire
auto approval
payment system
password abuse detection
etc.

The scripts I am looking at are pricey, and before spending the money, I thought I would ask for some reccomendations from you guys.
