Hi,
I am having problems with my internet provider where my site is hosted, basically the problem is with my email, every so often i have problems sending and receiving emails from my mail server. is there a way to keep my website's email address and host it on gmail so i can send from my email but through gmail?

thanks

Hi htdawg,

link: [google.com...]

There might be better articles on how to set up, but you can start with this one: [smarterware.org...]

You're gonna need access to domain settings such as MX (mail exchanger) I think.

Good luck

Yes, Google Apps will let you do this. You'll set up your account and any e-mail addresses there first, then you need to make changes to your mx record. They pretty much walk you through, lots of documentation.

Google Apps Standard is good for this. You will use your own email address, but messages will be stored/sent from Google.
