I'm the Managing Editor of a sports oriented site. I've been wanting to add a scolling ticker (horizontal) to the site to feature some news related to the content of our site. Specifically, we would be adding our own content to this ticker, rather than receiving a news feed from a service.
Has anyone added this type of ticker to their site, and, if so, are their any suggestions for a ticker that is not much trouble to implement, and that won't affect too badly the performance (loading) of the site?
