Blocking access based on search string

Can I block access to my website based on search string. Something/someone is using search engines to repeatedly access my website. Pls. help

I think your site is visiting by search robots.
Try to block'em by using .htaccess file.

Mine is a windows based server, so is the procedure the same as linux server?

no, it's a different procedure. Windows doesn't use an htaccess file.

You would open the IIS manager, right click the site and select Properties. Go to Directory security, then edit the IP Address and Domain name restrictions section.
