I need a client side program which hides my ip and comes up with a fake one, I have already tested lots of programs (trial) out there but none of them worked.

Has any one have a good experience with such programs? Would you please provide a link?

Thanks.

Your IP address is needed for two way communications. So unless you want to send a request to another computer without the need to receive an answer, you cannot just emulate another IP. You can use a proxy instead.

A proxy is not running locally on your computer, but is a server somewhere on the internet. Search for "anonymous proxy list" or similar to find a list of proxies.

Thank you very much for your responses.
I did search for the proxy lists and come across with several lists, I tested more than 40 of them but none worked for me.
Do you know any working http proxy (and port)?

Normally a proxy would do the trick, i.e. translate your personal IP address to the external IP address of the proxy and back. Do you have special requirements for the replacement of your IP address, can you a little bit more specific about your application?

>Do you have special requirements for the replacement of your IP address?
No, I change my proxy by changing the connection settings.

>can you a little bit more specific about your application?
Yes definitely.
All I want is to hide my real ip so the website doesn't fined where
I am from. For example of I'm from Canada I want my IP to be a fake one from UK.

Look for anon proxy. (couldn't remember how to speel it. anonymous or something like that.)

They allow you to connect and then your IP isn't X-forwarded to the site you are requesting, the proxy that you are using will send it's own IP.
