Hi everyone, only just joined this massive community.

Ok basically i have a website and over 1000 people have sent there mobile numbers as a request to receive updates on events and the website.

But i need some sort of software that will send the sms text messages all in one go. Also it would be good if the software allowed me to add extra mobile numbers to the list/ database as they come in.

Can anyone help please?

You've got to pay for this, but we use BulkSMS.co.uk (I'm not affiliated) really easy to code from VisualBasic and ASP.

ok, i dont mind paying as long as the fee is not to high and its a one payment for the software, which then belongs to me after the payment.

Anyone got any only details regarding sms softare. i live in the UK if that makes a differents to anything.

I believe the cost is not just associated with the software but the service itself. The software may be just a one time cost. However the software has to connect to an SMS gateway from where it can send the SMS to mobile phones. Generally SMS gateway services charge on a per SMS basis. However rates generally decrease on bulk purchase. These SMS gateways provide an API which can be used to easily build your SMS software :-)

Do a google on "sms gateway" or "bulk sms".

Its difficult (i would say impossible) to find an SMS gateway service charging just one time fee and allowing unlimited life time access.
