Hi Guys!
Hope Im posting in the right place for help on this topic.

Basically I develop custom sites for various small to med. sized business. What I want to offer them is the ability to have a custom site (created by me) and then offer them the ability to edit the site on their own after: ie, news, articles etc. And, replace a picture or two with new ones.

I was told that a CMS already has a layout, and a custom design will not work wtih it.

Any ideas on where I should go for help or suggestions on what CMS (or other service / product would provide me and my clients with this option) WITH AS LITTLE BACKEND PROGRAMMING AS POSSIBLE! (Important)

THANKS in advance for your help - OH and also, if it's a program, then having it MAC compatible would be better than just PC.. but if has to be just PC, then thats ok too.

THANKS
Tamara

You're headed in the right direction...now comes the difficult part; Which CMS? A good place to actually try out a number of CMS systems without having to install anything is the http://www.opensourceCMS.com site. They have a number of open source CMS systems already installed. You can try them all out online.
