Command for cpanel domain registration

I need to know for one of my project completion that in typical web hosting managers like cpanel what is the process behind the domain registration hosting account users. Is it something like SSH commands? also what is the location of domain availability checker and registration to invoke.

actually i was confused on cpanel domain registration...now i undederstand it only adds the owned domains to their list into user account (Addon-domain script)
