Sub-Domains and SEO Rankings

Hi,

Just wondering if you created xx.yourdomain.com if the search engines will rank that normally or will it rank you lower?

I am sure I read somewhere that it ranks you lower than yourdomainxx.com?

Any help would be appreciated? :)

That's false! They look at each page as it's own, although they are starting to take more of look at the whole site. They will not rank a subdomain lower than a domain just because it's a subdomain.
