Using PHP to change the currency on homepage

Is this possible to pick up the user's country?

I would like to ensure my homepage has dollar amounts on for USA and GBP for UK etc etc

Is it possible with PHP to code this so it looks up which country the user is from, by way of their browser configuration etc and then displays the correct currency?

I am more of an ASP man so was wondering whether any PHP peeps could show me the way on this?

Has code for almost ever language it seems. I'm looking into using it for my access log display page (as a curiosity).
