hello, Im a newby here.
I found out from this forum how to setup url redirect for 404 errors through the IIS settings. but this only works for links within the site. Is there any way
to do this for links to other domains?
I have a links page listing a whole bunch of external links and get alot of broken links.
I want broken links to be redirected to a page that I made instead of the 404 error page.
Thanks for your help!

Welcome at webmasterworld!

When external links are accessed, the visitors browser is searching at the external host, not yours and therefore the 404 error setting of that host will apply. So you cannot simply replace the error message with your own.
