Hi,

I’ve noticed recently that some of the search engines are returning URLs with capital letters within them.

There are links out there with capital letters on the directory names.

mysite.com/Directory/page.htm

It should read

mysite.com/directory/page.htm

My problem being that everything that is not hard coded on the page shows links with /Directory/whatever.htm

Could somebody give me some advice on this as I think the major search engines are seeing this as duplicate content?

How can I stop IIS 6 delivering these url’s site wide, I’ve tried to find the links out there that are pointing to these incorrect urls, with no luck.

Is there a way that I can stop IIS returning capitals in the URL.

Vimes.
