Hi

I got some good advice regarding security now I have another question, thanks for reading.

We use MailEnable on our Windows 2003 web server but it falls over quite frequently.

Does anyone have any experience with mail server software that runs on Windows Server 2003?

Thanks

Mick

What is your question? I don't think I understand what you are asking for here.

Hi eelixduppy

What I'm after is some mail server software to handle emails on our web server. The current software we use seems to be unstable and crashes quite often.

I've googled looking for software but I'm wondering if anyone out there has a recommendation?

[...]mail server software to handle emails on our web server

Do you mean to software to send outbound messages, or software to receive inbound messages (and store them in mailboxes)? or both?

Windows 2003 comes with IIS6, which comes with its own SMTP server. Is there a reason you don't/can't use this for outbound email?
