Went to one of my sites this morning to find it down, domain had run out and I never saw the NetSol reminder email (prob killed as spam!)
So whipped out the CC and paid their extortinate charge for a years renewal (must move it later) but was wondering how long does it usually take to start working again?

Can be up to 48 hours for the DNS info to propogate to all the nameservers on the internet. Usually its not that bad, but I've seen more.
