mysql clear as mud *sigh*

need to move a whole db to another server

I don't know how to do this, and as far as stuff like phpMyAdmin's docs, THEY are about as clear as mud too!

I can get the db downloaded as a gzipped file. It's 489kb which I don't think is overlarge since the upper limit on the server I'm moving to is 50mb!

I created the db on the new server. I used the sql queries page in phpMyAdmin, gave it the addy of the db download file, and get a timeout error.

I don't unfortunately have shell access, so I can't use command line for this (even assuming I could figure THAT out....)

Help?

Well, actually, the stuff I was trying to do was exactly what was needed. They were doing server updates to the cpanel, so it wasn't working right.

It's fine now. I told them they should have the common courtesy to LET PEOPLE KNOW when they're tweaking. *sigh*
