Has anyone hosted with this company?

Their prices are great, but do they deliver what they promise?

If this is the wrong place to post this, sorry. I'm interested in signing up with a web hosting company called <snip>. Their prices are unreal. You can get unlimited disk space and 400 GB bandwidth for just $16. That's why i'm optimistic. Has anyone used them before? My gut feeling is saying that they're not for real. What do you guys think?

Hi and thanks for your post.

Generally we don't allow posts requesting opinions on specific hosting companies. There are thousands of hosts out there, all have good days and bad days, and we don't want to create a long list of horror stories.

There are web sites specifically geared to hosting reviews.

In general, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Caveat emptor.

Also do a search *there are sites out there that will tell you this* and see how many domains they host per server. Do they have 50? 50000? Maybe they price it to get your money and hope that no one will actually use that much. Or maybe they just put 50000 sites on one server and your site will crawl along with all the others.

Like vkaryl said, "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" - research them in depth to find out more

I would say, figure out average numbers in the industry. Then compare to your offer. If it looks to good, just avoid them. Cheap cheese might probably help you to save some money, but bot to earn money :)

Searching usenet discussions is a good way to uncover negative feedback. There is rarely much positive though, so no negative or a small volume of negative is a good indicator.
