As of today I find myself a book publishing consultant. Imagine that! The book is completed, and so I've spent the morning considering some options. I've visited one online publisher, and have looked over what they offer. I figure I can already do most of it already. That leaves me with the promotion, and I already know a few of those tricks. The online publisher seems to pulling a distant second.

I've also been thinking about an executable program for the PC or laptop, which is compiled and contains the book. That option warrants a little more investigation.

There is already an existing web site for the book, and it needs the usual - SEO, validation, etc.

The author is most concerned about two things, copy protection and money, not necessarily in that order. It's my understanding that e-books will be available first, to help generate funds for print copies. I'm just looking for a discussion that might lead me in the best possible direction with this publishing.

Thanks,
grandpa
