OpenId

I'm currently working on an update to my content management system (home build) and am wondering if;

1) Its worth me implementing an OpenId login option?
2) If its possible to create an OpenId login from scratch - there seems to be nothing other than a few libraries around, that show you how to do it. Is there a tutorial out there?

OpenID looks like a potentially useful identification tool. A number of CMS and blog packages already have OpenID login functionality (often available as an add-in). You might look at one of their implementations to get ideas.

I haven't searched, but have you tried the OpenID Wiki [openid.net] or developer's sites like Planet OpenID [planet.openid.net]?
