Does anyone know where I can find statistics about the penetration of PDF format in the Internet, hopefully not from Adobe?

As far as I know, everyone has, or can get, Acrobat Reader.

I think it's that comprehensive.

Yes, obviously it is so very easy to get it, for people who have a "basic" knowledge of Internet browsing, but, still, you must know there are yet lots of people who's "basic" level would probably be inferior, very much, to what one would expect, take a website that points to users in far parts of the third world, for instance, where Internet penetration is not yet even 10%...

And in any case, what I need are statistical results.

Now, are these numbers trustworthy? Well, I know the name of the company is there, the ones who do the surveys, but still.

If anyone else knows of other sources for these kind of surveys, I'll be very thankful.
