Archive Email Messages

Hello,

I'm looking for an application that will archive or store email messages with the ability to search. I would prefer the application to be written in PHP.

We have a customer service department and I would like to archive all the email that is sent out to customers and make these archives searchable for the customer service reps.

Something similar to MARC but I don't want a public archival system.

Any ideas?

Perhaps there's a script that will read a Linux mailbox and take the contents and make them sortable and searchable?

you might look into using a mail mapper or mailing bridge solution.
this might allow you to use the search and sort functions of a mature and/or familiar email client rather than developing custom solution.
