I have a website that is hosted in the US but has also many visitors from Europe and Asia. So I am considering to take hosting in Europe (and maybe Asia too) to give the international users a faster response.

My question is how I should arrange this with DNS and so. I want to keep the same url for all users.

Until now I haven't found any website that deals with the technical aspects of such a setup.

Hi,

My site is hosted in the US and UK and four locations in AsiaPac.

The usual trick is to have smart DNS that directs a user to their nearest server so the URL stays unchanged.

I use a different trick, which is to bounce the user to their nearest mirror with a 302 redirect once they've looked at a few pages, which changes the URL but is OK.

Rgds
