Anyone have any experience of implementing Secure ID or similar product into a logon for a web server.

I was wondering how easy it is to implement into a logon system on a windows server and what it would cost for around 1000 user.

Whenver I try to enquire about these, they just try to sell me firewalls and consultancy, problem is I dont want that I just want secure ID :( what is wrong with sales people thesedays?

The cost is substantial. The major ongoing cost is the security devices that you have to hand out as part of the "what you have" part of the two factor. The rest is handled by Windows since NT4.

Yeah I got some quotes back and it does look a bit pricey. I thought these things would be commodity by now and be like a $1 each for bulk?
