I am new to developing mms and sms web applications could any one assist with a good online resource or book?

Welcome to WebmasterWorld xdrone! :) I have no experience with either and did some searching. The results I found are not promising. :( Some limited information seems to be available at hundreds of different commercial sites but I found no single definitive resource. It's not even clear to me whether any standards have been formally adopted for either technology in the US or in Europe. My apologies, that's not much help I'm afraid.
Hopefully someone who has already fought this battle will jump in to this thread with something useful.
