Domain vs. cookies

Strange behaviour of MSIE

I found thath Internet Explorer (6.0 at least) mix cookies set for site.com and sub.site.com. If the server will set cookie with the same name for both of theese sites (first for sub.site.com than site.com) than MSIE will refuse cookie set for sub.site.com.

When forced to use IE, I use IE5 and I've never used cookies. Has anyone else encountered this issue?
