Hi, there is a common way to develop web based configurators for hardware boxes. Is anybody know the tool that will allow to read HTML code, created with Dreamweaver (or similar), separate graphical and functional parts and then allow continue independent development of graphic front end and CGI back end interfacing just through some kind of variables tables?
Otherwise any changes in graphic require manual editing and you can not read it back to the Dreamweaver...

Any help will be appreciated

If the graphic elements of a page or template change dimensions, then that does have the chance of breaking the layout.

I'm not 100% sure I understand what you are trying to accomplish -- it sounds like you might need a content management system (CMS) rather than a server side solution.

Have you looked at Macromedia's Contribute tool?
