Does anyone know how to make WS_FTP quit leaving those annoying log file behind?

A search of the version 6.xx help file describes an "enable logging" option under the general tab of the Options screen.

Bone.. also try LeechFTP. I found about it on this forum and now have abandoned WSFTP for it. Much better for speed and transferring lots of files at a time.. at least compared to the older WSFTP version i was using. It got bought out but you can still get the last old version..

It has multi-threaded downloads. Instead of stacking the transfers one after another it will do them all at once.

Time to download the raw board (22,000files) Cute FTP: est6-10hours (estimate - I let it go for a half hour and it got 2k files.) Leech FTP: 26mins.
