Video Recording Software

Hopefully, this is the right place to post this question.

A new site I'm interested in developing would contain a number of instructional videos for a certain type of software. Users that view the videos would basically be looking at my computer screen as I put the software thru its paces. They'd be hearing my voice explaining what I'm doing as I went along.

I'm sure such an animal exists, but not sure where to look. Any recommendations?

There is a program called Camtasia, which allows you to capture screens, then later come back and add an audio track. I use it with my help system.

I asked Harrison Ford to record the voice over, but he was busy and I couldn't afford the $20,000,000.
