I have a client, and they redirect from www.XXX.com.YY, via javascript, mind you, to www.XXX.com/YY/ which is, to me, INSANE. I have never worked with IIS, so I was wondering, does anyone know of a good Online resource that shows someone (it wont be me), how to configure the server properly so that this is not necessary? Mind you, this client is a we bit simple, so simple is best.

Oh, and b4 anyone asks, yes I did search the MSDN, but all I ever seem to get is marketting rubbish like "Microsoft has the best yadda yadda". It is ironic, but the only good way to search the MSDN seems to be to do a site search @ Google, which is INSANE. I really hope the MSNBot solves this for poor rich Microsoft.

If your question is, "How do I redirect from www.XXX.com.YY to www.XXX.com/YY/ on IIS?" I think you'll find your answer here [webmasterworld.com].
