I would do a Google search for "streaming radio" or something like that and see what shakes. I understand it's a very expensive project.

This is something that I have done for a couple of projects in the past and txbakers is right, it is quite expensive.

The setup I used was a decent web server with Real Server on it. I put a decent sound card into the server and attached a good quality radio tuner. You start the stream and point the link to the RAM file produced by the Real Producer live stream.

You can specify what quailty (in bitrate) you want to stream at, which means that you can throttle the quality down somewhat to maximise bandwidth usage.

Hi gaston,

Like webcast said shoutcast is the way to go.
The setup is a little tricky but if you run into
set up problems their BB has many useful
information. If you cant find the answer then
you can post your question.

With the set up, you have the option of streaming
the music from your box or directly from your
host site. Uses quite a bit of bandwidth though.
