I searched the database and found mention of this tool;
[netroglycerine.com...]

Everyone seemed to say great things about it. Trouble is, when I went and tried it, it did not work!

Does anyone have a working version of this, or know of a better tool. I searched Google and came up with zilch.

I need something for 2 very large sites (one is a cgi based forum site that creates a new html page for each message - it is an enhanced wwwboard). If I can find a tool (preferably php) that builds a site map structure based on the true directory structure of the sites (so that I have less then 100 links on the top / upper hierarchy pages), that would be great. Otherwise, I will have to pay someone to develop it.

The Xenu link checker [home.snafu.de] can generate a site map. It's free so it's worth a try.

I've used Xenu on pretty big sites with good results- I'll second that one
