New kind of Spam with Outlook on XP

Anyone know what this is: Messenger Service...

I recently 'upgraded' to win-XP. Now I'm getting popups that don't come from websites.

- They are headed 'Messenger Service'
- They in in the form of an Alert, or a Diologue box.
- They have a message which always says to copy their site name into your browser...'
- They just popup when I am using MS Outlook.
- They don't come from emails or from websites.
- I don't use any IM (instand messenger).

Anyone know:
- what this is?
- how to kill it?
- is it a default with my new PC / XP?
