WinNT user authentication not working

logs EVERYONE with ID's on as anonymous

This just popped up. NT has been authenticating fine until yesterday. We have 400+ users with password/ID authentication.

Now, NT is recognizing everyone as anonymous and does not recognize authentication configuration.

Anyone have this problem crop up before? Any suggestions why this occurred and how to address the problem?
