hi,

i started by adding these three:

relays.osirusoft.
list.dsbl.
bl.spamcop.net

but my first test mail from lycos.com got bounced ;);) by spamcop. i have now taken spamcop off. does anyone know how good osirusoft and dsbl.org are?

or indeed does anyone have any others?

cheers

I use these. THe # lines are commented out for being too aggressive.

spews.relays.osirusoft.com
relays.visi.com
list.dsbl.org
# multihop.dsbl.org
dev.null.dk
proxies.relays.monkeys.com
# formmail.relays.monkeys.com
# bl.spamcop.net
# relays.osirusoft.com
korea.services.net
cn.rbl.cluecentral.net

The two last block all of korea and all of china. Depending on your users of the server, you might not what that.

René.

cheers rené, i have just added to my list.

in fact i've also just sent a price enquiry to MAPS. do you know if they are any good.

i.e. are the free ones you list just as effective?

<added> i am just on the home page of amavis virus scanner. do you /or anyone/ know anything about this? although in second thoughts it looks like a nightmare to install

(i know, i know, questions questions ;) )

I only use the free lists, and they serve me well.

I do report all spam to spamcop, even though I don't use their list myself. Spamcop resubmit spam-relays to some of the others so the reports trickle back to me later.
