M$ Flash?

M$ to acquire Macromedia?

Basically it suggests M$ is looking at buying Macromedia in order to own Flash and make it a Java replacement.

Who wouldn't want Macromedia really. Their MX studio is really an awesome package for web designers. I would be suprized to see Macromedia sell.

Anybody but M$! DreamWeaver is one (if not the) top competitors for FrontPage.

If Macromedia gets bought by M$, DW users are going to have a lot more editting to do to make sites work cross-platform. Yuck! :(

I am just wondering why it would happen? as Allaire already adapted by Macromedia,it means we gonna loose Cldfusion too?
