:) I think it's because a lot of us (myself especially) hardly consider MS insecure products 'news' anymore, because of the frequency it happens.
If it was a rare thing, sure it'd be 'news' but now, I almost think they make insecure products because they know it'll result in free PR...and the old saying says, "there's no such thing as bad PR"...

It summarizes my feelings well. Microsoft is in the middle of cleaning up it's security mess. it will get it's act together, but we have to give the company time as it as a huge problem to solve.

That being said, I think M$ "depth and breadth" is it's own worst enemy.
