Microsoft late Wednesday said that a flaw in its Windows operating system could allow hackers to gain unauthorized access to thousands of computers.

Believe it or not, keyplyr, this is a NEW problem... The one you linked to was last month's horrible security hole:

Last month, Microsoft issued a warning about a separate flaw that also affects digital certificates. That flaw doesn't allow a hacker to steal the certificates, but it does let the attacker corrupt the data, rendering it useless to the PC's owner.

This is a different one. (At least I think it is... I have trouble keeping track anymore. ;) )

Ooops, yeah I get confused by all the "holes". I rarely even read through the dynamics anymore, it's become such a common event; I just go and get the patch like a sheep being led to slaughter.

Last time I checked, there was nothing new at Windows Update.
