The host has said it is a simlink and Cuteftp might not support them or recognise them.

He mentioned something about START/RUN CMD but I can't get it.

Any Ideas :(

Thanks

You open up a DOS comand prompt. You go to your start menu and click on run. Type "cmd" in the box and press enter. This will open a dos prompt. Type in "ftp" and enter. You are now in FTP mode. Type in "open www.yourdomain.com". Then you will be asked for your username and password. Enter those and you should be at the root directory of your site.

Use "get filename.htm" to get files and "put filename.htm" to put them up there. Use "dir" to see the directory. Use "?" to see a list of all dos ftp commands.

I hope thats your question.

if "cmd" doesn't work, try typing "command". I think cmd only works in NT, 2000 and XP.
