The recent rollout of the new WebmasterWorld changed the site markup. I've updated this Chrome extension to work with the new site markup:
[chrome.google.com...]

The changes were somewhat rushed, and I'll probably go back and clean up the extension code at some point. This extension is free, and the code is available here:

This extension works with Chrome to let you mark certain forums as your favorites, and a section will appear at the top of the forum index page containing the list of your favorites. Note, I would love to see this functionality added directly to the site. Hint, hint, nudge, nudge. ;)

the code is available here

Or rather, here, minus space*:

You are not the first person to fall victim to this particular bit of auto-expansion ;) An especially interesting quirk-- which I never noticed before-- is that it also auto-expands if you go letter, space, letter, space, letter. Two spaces is just as ineffective as none at all.

* Camino obligingly eats spaces in URLs, but I don't think all browsers do.

Thanks for the link correction. :) I didn't catch the auto expansion of WMW to WebmasterWorld in my link.
