Now that Google’s Penguin 2.0 is rolling out we’ll be able to gauge the true impact of the latest algorithm and the resulting data sift. Previously, the four Penguin updates were purely data refreshes, hence the naming of this update being Penguin 2.0. It’s too early to tell with certainty what the full impact is going to be, but, we have some great threads with plenty of weather reports from webmasters around the globe. YouTube announced it was starting a subscription service trial, and there were some negative comments over this move in our thread. It does seem to me it's an opportunity for content creators to earn revenues.

Bing announced a new, faster, people autosuggest snapshot in its SERPs. According to Bing, "we are releasing a faster way to find people right from the search box. Now if you're searching for a celebrity, politician, athlete or even a colleague with a publicly available LinkedIn profile, Bing provides a snapshot of information about that person below the search bar."
Google said it's now making Maps personal, meaning you'll get data presented that is unique to you. What do you think of the personalisation of maps?
There was news this week that Flickr is now offering 1TB free space for your photos. Flickr said, "No limited pixels, no cramped formats, no memories that fall flat. We're giving your photos room to breathe, and you the space to upload a dizzying number of photos and videos, for free."
